The compatibility mode that I chose was Windows XP SP2, but I was not able to get past the “connect ver2 device” screen in the installation process.
Welcome to Windows 7 Forums. Interestingly enough, Windows 7 does correctly identify the device in the device manager, so I think it knows what product it is, but for whatever reason does not have the correct driver and cannot initiate the device, thus giving the error code.
